Tyler's 30 and Richard's 60!!

RICHARD'S 60th BIRTHDAY!
Last weekend we celebrated my Father in-law's 60th birthday here in Vegas!! Everyone came into town, and we had a great time!

Tyler's mom made 2 memory books for Richard! One included 60 reasons why we love him, and the other was a scrap book with pictures of him and the family over his lifetime! It was a great gift, and he really LOVED it!!

Richard rarely smiles like this for pics, but I just happened to capture this great smile in between his silly faces!!Saturday we headed to the Fab 4 show of the Beatles, and it was GREAT! Then, we went to Outback for some yummy dinner! This is a picture of the gang less Brook, who had to leave a little early! The month of April is a bit nuts in Tyler's family!! We have 5 Birthdays to celebrate, so it is a busy month! We had them bring out 5 ice cream sundaes! There were more people at the table with sundaes than there were without! So, HAPPY BIRTHDAY to: Sue, Richard, Tyler, Jeff, and Spring!!

Tyler's 30th BIRTHDAY

Tyler turned 30 on March 9th...we are FINALLY the same age again! I took him out to dinner at Ruth's Chris Steakhouse, and then to see Fast and Furious! Our steaks were delicious!! My awesome friend Michelle watched Madison for us so we could have a blissful night! Thanks Michelle!!

Tyler asked for a nice Leatherman this year, so that is what I got him!

I made him some yummy cupcakes! I asked if he wanted to take some to work, and he said NO! He wanted them all to himself! I told him there were 24 cupcakes and I didn't think he would be able to eat them all by himself! After some convincing, he reluctantly took these cupcakes to work with him to share!!

I also got him some shirts, but they didn't fit very well, so I will be taking those back and getting him some different ones!

Madison LOVES her new blow-up swiming pool (thanks Aunt Brook)! She watches T.V. in it now! Yep, those are her Christmas PJ's...that's what happens when laundry gets put on the back burner!! :)

Our friends Steve and Kalina were married in the Salt Lake Temple last month, and this is a picture of the gang at the wedding luncheon. I don't have anymore pics of the wedding, because I forgot my camera.

However, the girls are NOT responsible for the purchases made for the bachelor, so please don't get the wrong impression from these pics! The boys were completely in charge!! I think they found this beautiful night gown at Walmart for $3.00...SO HOT, especially with the chest part cut out...lol!! :) They tried to get me to do the cutting, but I said I wanted NO PART in it!

When we arrived to Tyler's parent's home in Provo, we discovered the HEAT was NOT working...it was 56 degrees in the house...yikes!! So, we bundled Madison up, and this is what she looked like!

Today my girlfriends Michelle and Hope came over to my house with their kids, and we made cookies for St. Patrick's Day. The kids had so much fun decorating the cookies! Thanks Michelle for coming up with a fun activity for the kids to do!

My new favorite thing! I am totally addicted to these things! The instructions advise to use every three days, and I am so excited when that 3rd day comes around!! Tyler thinks I am disgusting, because I analyze my used strip for like 5 minutes after! I am seriously amazed that these strips work so well at pulling out those nasty unwanted blackheads!! Anyways, I just LOVE them so much...I had to blog about em'!

A SUMMARY OF FEB 09

I have done a poor job of blogging for the las few weeks, so I thought I would just shove everything we did into one post!

We had our backyard landscaped! We still want to put grass on the other half, but we are waiting to complete that project!

Now we need a BBQ and some patio furniture!

On Friday we had a little pizza party at our house, and invited some couples in our ward - it was so fun! We played games, laughed, and stuffed ourselves silly!

2 weeks ago, we were able to take our boat out to Lake Mead, and learn the ins-and-outs of operating our new boat!

It was a perfect day on the water. Madison loves being out on the boat!

Madison dressed up all crazy! She is wearing Tyler's socks and my shoes!! I just thought this was a cute picture - she cracks me up!

Hm...what is this a picture of? Well, while I was in the shower last week, Madison decided to poop in her underwear! Apparently she decided to take her underwear off and drop her log on the carpet...so gross! She started screaming for me to help her...I had NO idea what I was really in for...lucky me!! Good thing it was solid!! I', happy to report that after this incident, we have had no further mishaps, and Madison is now totally potty trained!

Happy Valentines Day! Madison would not put these bags down the whole day. Tyler's brother Trevor and his wife Spring came to visit with their little guy Bode! Madison was in heaven playing with her baby cousin Bode!
