We surprised our parents this past Friday with a celebration in their honor at the Hotel Del Coronado. They were so surprised, and it was a blast! Congrats Mom and Dad on surviving 40 years of marriage and six kids...you deserve an award! We love you guys!

These are my dear friends, Michele and Amy. We had the chance to meet up last week while I was in Cali. Oh how I've missed these girls -- I hadn't seen either of them in about 3 1/2 - 4 years! It was so fun to hang with them again! Thanks for being so awesome girls!! I love you guys!! :)
Madison came with me to meet the girls, and she was pretty restless after lunch, so I let her ride in the car...she loved it!

This is our new entertainment center...big screen and all!! I felt like we were the only ones left in the world that didn't have a big screen t.v. yet!! Although, I know this is not true, it just felt like it!! :) It has been really fun to watch the Olympics on it this week! Men's gymnastics and swimming have been my favorite! 
If you look closely, you can see our new stool as well. We have 2 more coming, but this was all they had in stock!
Kitchen decorations! For those of you who have been to our new home, you know this is a big deal, because we have lived here since March and the walls are still bare!! :)
We painted the guest bathroom a few weeks back. We are excited to paint the rest of the house, but after painting the bathroom, we decided to hire someone to finish the BIG job!

We finally got a shot of Tyler in the air....thanks Cory for your awesome camera skills! :) Isn't my hubby a baller! We had such a blast on Saturday out at Lake Mead! It was a perfect afternoon/ evening out at the lake...we couldn't have asked for better weather or better water!! Thanks Bethany and Jeff for a fun time out on the lake!

The Hammond/ Briney gang! Everyone was here...it was great! I have never met an 8 year old as eager to be baptized as Chad. He is such a righteous example to all of us. We are so proud of him...GO CHAD!! :)
