The new question of the week is "why," and I am in serious trouble!! I knew the day would come when Madison would ask me "why" all the time, but I didn't realize it would come so soon.
Today, I put Madison in time out for throwing a tantrum. When she was done, I gave her a hug and told her she needed to be a good girl... she looked at me and said, "WHY?" She was so sincere with her question I almost started to laugh. I gave her a reason and then thought to myself, "OH CRAP," we have entered a new phase!!! :)

that's so cute! maybe now you'll be able to rationalize with her and she'll have a better understanding of why we act certain ways-just thinking positively!
Sorry we didn't get to hang out the last couple days you were here. Did you go home on Sunday? Maybe we could go to Vegas later this summer and all play there!
I love this pic! If you took the Y off her leg ... you could claim it came straight from The Pottery Barn magazine. I am jealous you got to go to The Stadium of Fire! They go crazy for fireworks! Didn't Mylie Cyrus perform? I heard that she's incredible live. He he. You should have come here though. It would have been so fun. We hung out with Mike all week. I love that kid!
When my nephew started saying that my sister just about died because she was so tired of coming up with an explanation to EVERYTHING. It was so funny. She finally started saying, it just is because mommy said so and told him to stop asking why. He's 4 now and pretty out of that stage. Good Luck! :)
