Today I exercised my right to vote, and it felt great! As I left, I walked by a young girl who said, "thank you for voting." I replied, "thank you to you too!" As I continued on my way I heard her shout, "did you Ba-rock the vote?" I turned and said, "excuse me?" She repeated herself, did you Ba-rock the vote?" I replied simply, "NO, I ROCKED the vote, and I voted for McCain!" She replied with, "oh, OK!" Ha, I think I was as stunned by her question as she was by my answer! Have any of you heard this clever little question?

ROCK THE VOTE!

No, I haven't heard of that one but now that it's over I think I may need to send my husband away for a few days. He wanted McCain, so he's a little frustrated to say the least. He's going to drive me insane and I'm stuck here in Panaca...what's a girl to do in a rural town?
It's me again. I just wanted to clarify, I wanted McCain too. But I figure there's nothing I can do about it now.
I've never heard that quip before. Quite catchy...if you're an Obama fan.
That does not sit well with me, and neither does him winning.
Good for you for letting her know what you thought. I bet she was a little suprised!!
I'd heard it (and used it) but she shouldn't have asked you that -- it's not classy to ask that to a stranger. Did my grandma and I say it to each other, yeah sure. Would I ask you or any of my coworkers - no way! Not until today, when one of them came in with a Obama sticker today did I say anything.
Yeah, I think it was kind of rude of her to ask you that right after you voted. I voted McCain too - as you could probably tell by my Halloween costume. Oh well. Atleast Prop 8 passed! YAY!!
Oh, Madison looks adorably as usual in her ladybug costume!
Hi Nicole! I saw your blog through a friend's blog in Vegas. The last time I saw you was when you were pregnant. I can't believe how big Madison is and how adorable she is. It was fun to read up on how your fam is doing. I hear bits and pieces through my mom.
All I can say is.... YOU ARE SO COOL! AND FUNNY! HA! Oh and I agree with you too! :)
I voted too and it felt great!!! Though it wasn't the turn out we wanted I am glad I did it. I love your halloween pics! I think Madison is the cutest little ladybug ever! She is such a little lady too. love you guys, I love keeping in touch with you guys, it is so fun! Take care, see you soon!
